Thank you for your patience as we have been working through some IT upgrades.
We are pleased to share that online bookings are now available again. To book an appointment: www.eahcnewton.com.au/book-online
We are still finalising a few updates behind the scenes, but we’re making great progress and hope to be fully operational soon.
We are also pleased to announce that bulk billing consent for bulk billed telehealth appointments can now be approved electronically through HotDoc, making the process faster and more convenient. Instead of signing a form, you will receive a notification via push notification, email, or SMS after your appointment, allowing you to approve bulk billing with just a few clicks. For more information please see below.
Approving Bulk Billing for Your Bulk Billed Telehealth Appointment

You can now approve your consent electronically using the HotDoc App. Please follow the steps below to confirm your bulk billing approval.
How You Will Receive Your Bulk Billing Request
You will receive one notification asking for approval via:
Push Notification (if you have the HotDoc app)
Email (preferred by Medicare)
SMS (sent if email is unavailable)
Please allow 5–10 minutes for the SMS to arrive if applicable.
How to Approve Bulk Billing Consent
Open the link in your notification.
For security, enter your last name and date of birth, then select Verify.
A summary of your consultation details will appear.
Select "I Agree" to approve bulk billing, or "Decline" if you do not wish to proceed.
Important Notes
For patients under 12 years old, a guardian must enter their full name to provide consent.
If consent is not approved on the day of your telehealth appointment, a final reminder will be sent the next morning at 9 AM.
If consent is not provided, we will contact you to arrange an alternative consent / payment method.
For more details about why we need to get your consent, please visit Services Australia’s website.
